In another effort to streamline H-1B Cap processing, USCIS recently indicated that the agency is working on implementing an e-notification system for receipts and approvals that could be in place by April 1. The planned e-notification system would likely be similar to the email updates already utilized for petitions filed under the premium processing program, and would provide employers and employees with quicker access to case status updates as compared to the USCIS' traditional "snail mail" notices.
USCIS also reiterated that several other administrative and regulatory "fixes" are in the works and should be made public in the coming weeks.
